Amanda Leverett, Owner
Amanda has been in the horse industry for thirteen years, and a horse owner and enthusiast for her entire life! Amanda often jokes that she learned to walk and ride in the same year. She has had the opportunity to ride horses since childhood and has been very blessed to work for and with many talented horse people over the years, teaching her great skills! Amanda feels that the children she coaches and the horses she rides continue to shape her ideals on a daily basis.

As a child, Amanda began taking English riding lessons from her aunt who was a dressage rider, and Amanda was immediately hooked. Amanda has worked as a care taker, exercise rider, and a riding instructor. Amanda may have started out riding English, but she realized that she had another passion and it was barrel racing! Barrel racing is now her life. Amanda loves to teach all ages and share her passion for horses.

Throughout her college years and while working on a horse farm, owning a horse stable never was Amanda's career goal.  She thought it was just a childhood dream. Then, in 2005, just one year after she graduated college, she established JustAmere Farm, LLC. From there, the small beginning company has grown into what is now a 30 acre facility with indoor and outdoor arenas and a vast clientele.  Amanda's goal with JustAmere Farm, LLC, is to create a fun, educational, and safe environment for you and your horse.

Nashae Mayo

Nashae, a friend of Amanda for years, joined JustAmere Farms in October 2012, after working at Boothill for 7 years. Originally from Cordele, GA, Nashae moved to Valdosta where she majored in Anthropology and Sociology. Nashae started riding horses at the age of 14 and she can ride both English and Western disciplines. Nashae rode and competed on the collegiate level. She knows a tremendous amount of information about horse tacks and bits. Nashae oversees the daily operations at JustAmere farm and her diverse experience makes her a huge asset.

Anna Foy

Anna, a biology student at Valdosta State University,  joined JustAmere Farms in April 2012.  Anna has been riding horses since the age of 6. She was a trail guide for four summers in Wapiti, Wyoming where she managed and gave instruction to large groups of riders. Anna is also knowledgeable in both English and Western disciplines. She comes with references from all over the country   and we are pleased to have her at JustAmere  farm.
